A eighteen year old with jet black hair skateboarded past a group of people who where carrying piles of books.
"Oh, sorry" He said sarcastically as he purposely pushed someone over glancing over his shoulder just in time to see her papers fall onto the ground scattering over the parking lot.
A smirk spread across his face as he continued pushing himself across the pavment his icy blue eyes scanning the few people who walked from there cars to toward the school.
It was Friday mornimg, and who really wanted to be at school that close to the weekend?
Josh had skipped over half his classes over the week and he was debating weather or not to sit through todays lectures or head downtown and have some fun.
Josh was known all over the school for his bad behavior and especially to the 'IT groups' he enjoyed causing people trouble.
He skidded to a stop and flipped his board into his hand.
He was wearing black jeans and a black hoodie that read 'forever hated' in gray across the front along with black and white Vans skateshoes.

 five violent fingers.
Adelaide groaned as she made her way towards school. She thought it was saturday so she was prepared to sleep in until 12 o clock. But her bubble was blown as her alarm went off. She trodded her way to the school, until someone caught her eye. A boy, about her age or so, looking like he was skipping. She could skip with him!! She made her way towards him, watching as he shoved some stupid people. Of course she didn't do it herself, but it was still funny to watch. She laughed a bit. Walking closer to the boy, she read his features. If she wasn't so hung up on Alex, she'd probably think he was quite the hottie.
She smirked as she made her way up to him. "You skipping?" She asked, looking at him, almost pleading that he was so she could leave somewhere with him. She hated skipping by herself, but she still did it. "I sure hope you are, because, effff. I'm not going to school today. And I hate skipping by myself."

'You skipping?' A voice asked, He quickly glanced toward the source of the voice. Slightly surprised to see a girl with red hair standing there he crossed his arms staring down at her, "I was thinking about it." Of course he wasn't going to sit around school all day especially if this girl wanted to skip with him.
"You don't look like someone who would be skipping classes" He added as his bright blue eyes peered through the bits of black hair that fell scattered into his face scanning the girl who stood in front of him.
To him she looked like someone who would be right on time to every class and possibly dating some football player.

Adelaide smiled. "Good. Let's go do something." She sighed happily, looking at her feet until he spoke again. She hated it when people made judgements about her, but she wasn't going to say anything out loud. "Haha. Well I should. I think I've only been to my classes like 3 times in the whole year so far." She smirked. She was the queen of skipping. She knew where to go, how to get away from the teachers, and how to hide well.
She smirked, grabbing his hand and pulling him..somewhere. She didn't know where. "I'm Adelaide by the way. Hope I'm not scaring you or whatever. I just really want to get out of here."And i just wanted to hold your hand. She shook out her stupid thoughts. She was being stupid. Just because he was pretty cute doesn't mean anything. Nothing. She looked back at him, just to make sure everything was okay and he wasn't thinking she was some crazy stalker woman.

He raised an eyebrow . "Well then, If your the 'queen of skipping' Then what do you do all day?" He figured that his routine would be to much for this little girl.
Taken by surprise once again as the girl grabbed his hand and started walking off, "Okay then" He mumbled more to himself then anyone else.
"And hun, You couldn't scar me if you tried" he said pulling his hand away from hers, but he still followed her. He didn't even know why, it wasn't like him to hang out with anyone, It was pushing it just to be talking to her.
He glanced down at the skateboard that was still in his hand, "I'm J.P." He said glancing back up at her, Maybe she wasn't quite as back as he thought, But it wasn't like they would be friends after skipping school together once.

Adelaide shrugged. "Whatever I feel like doing. Usually I sleep in, then I go wreak havoc around the town, you know." She quirked her eyebrows at him when he asked the question to begin with. Odd. But so was she. She nodded curtly and swiftly. "Well thats good. I don't usually like scaring people. All though sometimes it's inevitable." She pointed to her hair, the thing that scared most people away, oddly. She would never know why.
She looked around, forgetting that she walked to school. "f**k, I left my car at home." She frowned. "Daaaaammmmmnnn, I wanted to drive." She sighed looking at him. "I don't know what to do. What do you want to do?" She asked, stuffing her hands in her back pocket.

Josh shrugged her hair wasn't normal that was for sure, But anyone who stayed away from her because of it was either a serous wimp or didn't know hair dye existed.
He couldn't help but almost laugh when she started talking about her car.
He didn't even have a car, just a skateboard and his own two feet... Well there was also the bus, but he wouldn't be caught dead anywhere near one.
"Do you skate?" He asked holding his skateboard a little higher, She didn't really look like a skater, but he thought she didn't look like a girl who would be skipping classes either.

Adelaide nodded and smiled at him. "Thats like asking me if I breathe. Of course I do. I just..don't have my board. My mom aka evil overlord confiscated it." She sighed, stuffing her hands deeper in her pockets. Stupid mom.
She didn't know how to get to wherever they would be going. She shrugged, looking around as if a board would magically appear. She had enough money on her to go buy one, but getting to a store. Hmm. Complicated. She took a hand out of her pocket to ruffle her hair and push some of her bangs out of her eyes. She really needed to re dye her roots again. But she liked this faded look. She looked at J.P again, as if asking him if he had any bright ideas.

"Really?" He tipped his head to the side. "What else should I know?" He asked since ever perception he had made so far has been wrong.
She sure didn't look like a class skipping, skater girl... but what did he know?
After a moment of silence she looked at his as is to ask if he had any ideas.
"No idea..." He answered her unspoken question.
"I don't normally have someone following me around" he added
"I guess we walk..." He repositioned the skateboard in his hand ".... where to?" He asked

Adelaide laughed a bit. "Well, I hate effing preps. I hate it when people call me a carrot face hoe. And I really really like parties." She shrugged, smiling. She liked it when people really got to know her, instead of just looking at her.
She shrugged. "Walkings great." She spoke, walking beside him. She really wanted to get to know him because frankly, he seemed like a really cool guy. "So uhh. J.P. Tell me about yourself."

"I pretty much just skate and get in trouble..." He smiled "Carrot face hoe?" He reapted scanning over the girl, "It fits"
"I'm never invited to parties... But I go anways just to make all the rich kids mad... I don't have money to party" He added flipping a bit of black hair away from his face.
"Man, there is nothing to do here" He didn't like the town, There was practilly nothing to do.

Adelaide laughed slightly. "Yeah. I bet it does fit. First of all, it's carrot HAIR, and second, I'm no hoe. I'm a bitch. Theres a difference." She shook her head and laughed at him. "Well crashing parties is all the rage I hear. And it doesn't take much money for a party. All you need is music and some crazy teens who buy their own alcohol." She shrugged.
She looked over at him and focused on his features. She was really into his nose ring. Something about it made her happy inside. She shook off stupid feelings and focused back on walking. "I know. We could go to the mall?" She asked, rubbing her arms a bit from the cold. Smart Ade. Forget your effing jacket.

"Fine..." He said putting up a hand as if he was surrendering with a slight laugh.
"Carrot hoe, carrot top... whatever it's all the same"
He glanced back down at the pavement.
"Mall sounds good, but I swear one of these days there gonna see me coming and lock all the doors" He said before randomly holding out the skateboard to her. "Wanna' skate some?" He asked surprised by his own 'kindness' now that was strange... him offering someone else his board of all things.

Adelaide laughed at him. "Whatever mann." She smiled to herself and looked at her shoes, before looking up at the horizon. It felt good to get out of school. And tomorrow she could sleep in!!
She looked at him and laughed. "Same here. My mom took my board away because I used her credit card to buy me some new stuff." She laughed, remembering the good days. It was worth it. She looked at the board, kinda surprised that he was offering. "Sure." She smiled and took it, letting it hit the ground and stepping onto it. "That was awfully nice of you. Thanks." She said, pushing off and riding around a bit before going back over to him. "I wonder if it's possible to do a two person ride. You know how fun that would be?!"

"My parents only let my sister use her credit cards... I couldn't have gotta even close to her stuff if I had wanted to... I spent about all of my time skating." He ran a hand through his hair as she took his board. 'That was awfully nice of you. Thanks' He almost chringed at those words. "Yeah... Well don't get used to it!" He called afters her he stuffed his hands into his pockets as his icy blue eyes followed her, she wasn't a bad skater... but she wasn't anything speial either.
He smiled at the idea of two people riding the skateboard... but soon desided against it. "It might brake... I mean look at you" He joked with a slightly disgusted look on his face but it soon turned into a teasing smile as he took the board and pushed off, he did a kick flip off the curb into the desirted street before flipping it into his hand next to her again.
