Just be still and breathe A seventeen year old boy named Aiden sat quietly on the stairs leading up to the two large doors to his new school. Next to him sat a stack of books, some where school books others where just books he enjoyed reading along with a black notebook. Aiden was dressed a bit different then most of the other students at Dayton Academy. He was wearing black skinny jeans along with a black t-shirt that read ‘Teenage bottle rocket’ in yellow. Around his waist was a black and red studded belt. And on his feet where mis matched Converse hightops, one black and one red.
His icy blue-gray eyes where hidden mostly under his black layered hair. He sighed taking a cigarette from between his lips with a slight sigh blowing a cloud of smoke into the chilly air. He had a wrist band around on wrist and a few bracelets around the other that move ever so slightly as he flicked the end off his cigarette.
He didn’t look up as a few people flooded out of the school doors until he noticed a familiar voice. If was some boy would had thrown stuff at his all through math class. As the boy walked past he pushed all of the books that had been stacked so they fell down the stairs. Aiden let his head drop as the boy laughed and walked off with his friends. Aiden slowly got up and started picking up the book one by one. He would never stand up for himself, he would just let everyone else push him around, that’s just how he was.

Glass hailed from the sky tonightI couldn't hide to save my life.
Adelaide grumbled at the boy who was currently trying to stick a paperclip in her hair and pull it. "Real maturity right there." She glared. He scoffed and walked off. Good riddance. She pushed a piece of her hair out of her eyes and continued walking up the stairs to her school. The stairs that she knew so well. She had made out with various boys on these stairs, had several fights with different friends on these stairs. The memories accompanied with inatimate objects was amazing.
She looked ahead to see the same boy who was annoying her push another boys books out of his hands. This was too much. "You're a real douchebag, you know that? Go away mother f**ker, we don't need you being a bully." She shoved him away. The only reason he listened to her was because she knew he was completely and utterly infatuated with her. Stupid little crush magnet, she was. She bent down, her red skinny jeans making it somewhat difficult, and grabbed some of the boys books. "Sorry about him. He's a jerk, who should..fall on..asphalt." She didn't really know what to say. "I'm Adelaide. You must be new here." She stood up and handed some of his books, offering a kind smile before returning down to pick up the rest.

I didn't know what to tell you, I didn't know what to say
Aiden only glancing up for a second then quickly looked back down at the books he was picking up as a girl with very brightly colored hair shoved the boy away. ‘Sorry about that’ He heard the girl say. He glanced up almost surprised that she was talking to him not laughing at him, This was a first. ‘I’m Adelaide’ She smile. He took the books that she had picked up for him. “Umm, Thank you” He said not even trying to hide his rather strong British accent, He had already been teased for it, and she didn’t seem to be trying to make fun of him. “I’m Aiden” He added sitting the books down on a stair and picked up his black notebook. He sighed as a few pages fall out a put the cigarette back between is lips.
He slowly and glanced back up at her, His pale blue eyes had been fixed on the floor all day, but now since someone was trying to show him a bit of kindness he uneasily met there gaze. He was always uncomfortable around people he didn’t know.

Adelaide smiled kindly at him. "It's no problem at all, dear." She pushed a piece of fiery red hair behind her ear and smiled. She was a bit taken back by his accent. She absolutely adored british accents. She wished she had one. So bad. Her eyes glistened with excitement. "Nice to meet you Aiden. And by the way, I absolutely am in love with your accent. I bet you get that alot though." She smiled brightly, showing off her teeth.
She looked around, noticing the guy that had been a jerk to them still lerking around. She flipped him off, and he stalked off. "I know why he's picking on you." Ade spoke, grinning. "Its because you're getting more attention from me then he is." She laughed to herself. That boy would be the death of her. She gazed back up at Aiden. "So I'm guessing you're new here. Where from?" Most likely from maybe...England, ever think of that Ade?[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Everything they said about you, Everything they know was wrong He picked up the last of the few papers that had fallen out of his note book. ‘I absolutely am in love with your accent. I bet you get that a lot though’ He raised an eyebrow at her words, He hated his accent. And here all here got from it was being made fun of. “Thanks...” He said quietly looking up at her from his mismatched converse. He gently bit onto his lip ring as she said the reason the boy had been picking on his was because he was getting more attention. “It doesn’t bother me, I’m used to it” He shrugged softly, tossing the burnt out cigarette onto the stair.
‘So I'm guessing you're new here. Where from?’ He heard Adelaide ask. “Manchester” he nodded lightly. “England” He added since he wasn’t sure she knew where Manchester was. He missed Manchester more then anything the U.S. to him wasn’t all it was cracked up to be. There seemed to be more stuck-up preps, and more full of themselves jocks. But he didn’t really have a choice but to stay there at least for another year, once he was eighteen he was headed back home to England.
