Finally she was away from the mess that was her life. Away from everything that tore her apart. And ready to begin anew in some form. She had had to go back home to her father during the summer. There was no reason for it. He was as bad as ever but she did feel sorry for him. No bad thought there. The girl shook her head and told herself to shut up. There was not one single reason for her to feel bad for him.
She had pulled into the parking lot of mallory's which was one of her favorite places. She was seen here often last year and now she decided she would come out of her shell. That had been the reason for her hanging out here. There just couldn't be another but now she was finally ready. She was still slightly afraid of men but she was getting better slowly. She was able to talk to them now. Progress if she could say so. In fact she thought she was ready to look for something that wouldn't tie her down. It sounded like a plan to her, she wouldn't have to worry about him the whole time.
A boot hit the ground as she stepped out of her car. Another soon followed. Her outfit consisted of knee high black boots with a three inch heel, dark skinny jeans, and a white peasant blouse. Her hair waved down her back and her eyes glowed. She was ready for anything. She had knwon she had looked good but she hadn't expected all the stares. It was nerveracking for her. Stepping inside she took in the familaar place with a breath of relief.
"Desiree Van der Woodsen is that you?" asked one of hostess, Madeline, a long time friend of her's. She smiled at the old woman and nodded. Heading for her favorite table she left the smile on her face. With a sigh she plopped into a chair and stared out the window. Ordering a coffee, she wondered what would happen with this new year. She was excited.

Even though Logan had come to Dayton since Freshman year, he really hadn't seen much of Tampa before. All he knew was that it was one of the most redneck towns crossed with a spanish influence. He didn't know why on earth his parents would push him to go to this sorry excuse for an exceptional boarding school. Yeah, and one day Logan wouldn't be famous? Yeah right. Logan had finally begun to really fit in with the other kids from his clique, he was hardly there because of movies and such before. Now, he was there all the time and was getting to know everyone a little better than he knew them before. He figured he'd take it a little easy now that it was senior year, but he knew he couldn't stay off the stage too long before he went crazy. He pulled into the parking space, he was plainly just lost in his own little world. Some people knew Logan Emerson hadn't always been the big-headed jerk he was today, but maybe Logan was too afraid to show people his nicer side.
Logan opened his car door, carefully that is. Why the heck would he want someone else's paint on his car?! Exactly he wouldn't. He jumped out, but he could feel eyes just glued to him. He shut the door and turned his head as he hit the button on his car keys to lock his car. He gave a light smile to two middle school aged girls. They were young, just a little intimidated that's all. Logan didn't mind when the girls who were younger looked at him without saying a sound, it was those who were older. The two girls turned to each other, they couldn't even believe that Logan Emerson himself had just smiled, at them! It would have been a pretty unbelievable thing, and if it wasn't for the cooler weather of fall, they would have most likely shook their heads, thinking the heat was just getting to them. Logan laughed lightly, he stuck his keys in his pocket and began to walk over. "You guys want an autograph or something?" The two tweens nodded, they pulled something out for him, one pulled out a magazine with his face on it. It was obvious they went to the store just now. The other pulled out her silver phone and asked him to sign the back. It wasn't the most awkward thing he was ever asked to sign so he happily signed it. Then the taller of the two pulled a college aged man aside, asking if he would take their picture with Logan. He nodded and the two girls got together next to Logan. One on each side. They smiled for the camera and saw the flash of light. They both smiled up at Logan, who stood at a 6'4" height and thanked him not once, but two times. He smiled and replied back, "Anytime, guys."
Logan turned away once the girls did, he gave a small smile at the thought. Five years ago he could have never imagined being loved by other people like this but now? He was an idol. Kids looked up to what Logan was doing. And believe me when I say he put on that pretty smile for the camera, that pretty fake smile. He pushed the door open to the cafe, if he was going to get acquiantanted to the city he had to start somewhere. He smiled at the hostess, and her mouth dropped. Now that bothered him. Would it kill her to just ask for an autograph? It was just a little creepy when people flat out stared at you. Logan walked past her, making his way to the tiny bar in the back. Obviously, in this part of town they sold alcohol at this bar. But this bartender knew for a fact that Mr. Logan Emerson was under 21. Not that Logan would drink in the middle of the day anyway. He turned his head, noticing someone who looked somewhat fimiliar. He was probably haulucinating or something but, hey he was Logan Emerson? It wasn't like people would mind if he started talking to them. He never made it to the bar, he turned instead and headed over to this girl at a table. "Hey, you look pretty fimiliar? Did you go to Dayton or something?"

There was some type of commotion outside, as far as Des could tell. Of course she could be completely wrong as was typical to her. But when people started screaming look, she knew she had been right. The only thing was she had no idea what all the fuss was about. Was she supposed. She guessed it didn't matter. She took one more glance outside before taking the coffee cup that had been placed before her. Taking a sip she let out a breath. Watch this craziness be over nothing.
The minute she heard people begging for autographs she knew it was a person. Someone famous of course. Whatever. With a little shrug she went back to her coffee. This was ridiculous. She was came here for quiet not for a lot of noise. Maybe she should get out of here. Then she saw Madeline's jaw drop. It must be big otherwise her friend wouldn't do that. She had only seen that happen once before and that had been a little earlier when she had walked in.
Right so what was going on? It would be nice to be told. But of course she was probably invisible to everyone like always. And she had thought her outfit was going to make a difference. Yeah right. It hadn't. At least she thought it hadn't. Then suddenly a shadow loomed over her. Looking up she supposed this was the cause for all the fuss. He was tall and good-looking. She would give him that. But he also had player written all over him. Maybe he was what she was looking for. And then he spoke. Why was he talking to her? Oh well might as well answer his question. "I don't believe we've met. And no, I go to USF," she told him quietly. She could feel peoples eyes on her and the boy in front of her. This wasn't fun for her.
[ooc; tis fine xP it doesn't work for me EVER. sorry for the shortness.]

Logan tilted his head at the girl sitting down. She didn't seem to be all that happy about talking to him. Either she really hated him, or she just didn't want to talk right now. Well, he kind of was interupting her quiet coffee time. Well, sorry he didn't get the memo. No one hardly acted this way around him, it actually made him a bit uncomfortable. He took a step back, maybe if he wasn't as close it'd make him feel a little better. He could feel the air vent just blowing down on him, he didn't have a jacket and being a florida native never really had it's perks. You were always cold, well he wasn't from Tampa but he was from Orlando. It didn't get very cold up there either. He remembered that was how he got his big break, sure being the Floridian wasn't always so amazing but being near Disney World, where all the stars and movie directors from Disney went, was amazing. He was asked to do some commercials, star in some tv shows and there he was later in movies. Being considered a teen idol was pretty fun at least.
The girl finally stared up at him. He gave a light smile, he wasn't trying to get anything from her. When people looked fimilar he usually left it at that and only had a friendly conversation. Unless they had some chemistry, which had never happened before. She said she hadn't gone to Dayton, maybe he had just seen her before? He shrugged it off. That must have been it. He had seen her, he knew that much. It was questionable as to where he had seen her, however. He shook his head, remembering that he needed to get back into reality instead of letting himself think freely. He was in a conversation and he needed to be careful as to what he was doing when it came to people he did not know.
"Huh, maybe I have just seen you somewhere before?"
Logan gave a light shurg along with a smile. Seriously, he had that fake Hollywood face on. He didn't really care about other people, he just really was a good actor. Which was why he was paid millions to be in a movie. But Logan wasn't any different from anyone else, sure he was a bit big-headed, but he was still just Logan, right? Well, maybe. Logan wasn't the player. He would have been a Charmer if he was, he gave a bit of a break at least. He never really played anyone at school, it was stupid to do that. He usually played girls that were in the places he went for a movie. He'd never see them again and their friends couldn't really do anything about it. Not to mention he'd never see them again.
"I'm Logan, by the way."
