Sophie had been waiting all night until she could meet with Jack again. He seemed really nice, and she liked him. English couldn't have gone by any slower. She was nearly half dead by the time the bell rang. She had hurried out the door and back to the cicle, where she and Jack were supposed to meet.
Today, she wore a pair of grey leggings with a black miniskirt. She had on low ankle boots, black leather. She wore a long(ish) white t-shirt with multi colored hearts on it. Her hair was back to it's curliness, and was pulled back by a simple white headband, shorter wisps falling out.
Sitting onto a bench, she dropped her bag next to her. Sighing, she read the texts her friends from home kept sending her. She replied with short, quick responses. She wasn't in the mood to text them right now. She put her phone away and looked over towards the school, waiting for Jack...

Jack forced himself not to run. Could he finally get a girl? That Kristin Parker girl had hurt him, but Sophie didn't seem like that type. She wasn't your normal Royal. Royals were usually cute, ditzy, a little on the narcissic side, and a tad selfish. They generally didn't go out of there way to talk to people they didn't know, unless it was a cute boy. That was the kind of girl Jack went out with.
Sophie was different. She had the cute part down pat. But she was nicer, friendlier. Right now he could see her at the Circle, her long blonde hair curlier than it had been earlier that day in English class. English had been so boring! He was ready for excitement. But he reminded himself to pace himself. He was used to going out with and being dumped by girls in short periods of time. Last year, when he was a freshman, he had made out with a girl only a few minutes after they met. His mom had made him dump that one a week later. She was really adorable, that girl. But Sophie, not being your normal Royal, probably wasn't going to want to move fast, if she wanted to move at all.
"Hey, Sophie," he said, speedwalking to get to her. She looked up at him with those striking blue eyes. "I'm going to show you around town tonight, right? Maybe we could eat out and go down to the beach?"

Sophie had taken out her notebook in her spare time while she was waiting. It was a lakehouse scene. A large lakeside home with a porch, right on the lake. She had finished the young girl and was drawing the dog when she looked up. Jack was nearing her.
Sliding the book in her bag, she dropped her pencils inside and sat up abit straighter. She tried as best she could to get the lead marks from the pencil off her hand, but it was stuck. Giving up, she dropped her hands in her lap, swinging her feet back and forth.
"Hey Jack," She replied with a smile, looking up. She listened to what he had planned. It had sounded perfect. "Yea, it's on. Sounds great." It was going to be a great night, she could just tell.

Jack was excited. The last time he had really been with a girl, and Kristin Parker didn't count, was before he moved here. Months ago. Yes, his family had started to get worried about him. But he could get back into the swing of things.
Where to begin, though? Dinner, first, probably. He was feeling a little ansy, but food would calm the mood for both of them. It was going to be a nice, clean date. Date? Was this a date? He had asked her if he could show her around. Did she count that as a date?
He held out a hand for Sophie to take. "Shall we, then? Would you like to begin with dinner? We could go over to the Outback Steakhouse in South Tampa?"

If they were going to go on a tour, she'd have to put her bag away. Or she'd bring it with her. She didn't feel like leaving, anyway. It wasn't worth the time. Or the effort.
She hadn't been around the town much, so she was really looking forward to this. She was really excited to get to go around Tampa. It seemed like an awesome place to be.
She took his hand, standing up. "Dinner sounds good. Never been to the Outback before." She hadn't been to many restaurants anyway. Her mother always had the best cooking ever. They rarely needed to go out. But times changed, and they weren't always going to sit home for everything. It was time to move on.

Jack grinned and began walking in the general direction of the Outback. Her hand in his made his heart beat a tad faster. He had forgotten how much he liked girls. Especially the pretty ones. He led her away from the Circle, away from the school, and toward South Tampa.
"So what were you up to this afternoon?" he asked, putting his free hand in his pocket. Yes, he did have his wallet. Tonight would be his treat for Sophie.
They walked in sync, their feet hitting the pavement together. He swung her hand a little bit each step. This was going to be a fun night. He hadn't had a fun night since before he had moved to Dayton.

She followed as he lead him away from the Circle, towards wherever they were going. In the direction of the Outback was what she guessed. She bit her bottom lip, smiling. It was going to be a great night. Of course she knew it from the beginning, but it wasn't bad to think it twice. Or more than that.
"Nothing really. Doodles, as usual." Which was totally true. She hadn't been up to anything much. Just her lakehouse scene. Which could definitely wait. That much she knew.
She swung her arm slightly as Jack had, leather heeled boots making a soft thud on the ground. She hadn't had a fun night since before Dayton and Florida. She missed going out and all that fun stuff you were supposed to do as a teenager.

((OOC - Is there actually a beach, here? I couldn't find one. I thought there was. We might have to do something else.))
Jack looked up at the sky. Darkened clouds were starting to gather. Not exactly beach weather. That was too bad. But surely there was something else nice to do in Hamilton. Maybe even a little romantic. The Outback wasn't really romantic, but it would certainly lighten the mood. Not that there was any tension going on or anything.
It felt so nice to be walking with a girl. Especially with Sophie. He had missed this feeling a lot. "Doodles. You're really in to art, huh?" Art was cool. Jack liked art, but he had never been any good at it. He never got past little cartoons in 5th grade. "What kind of art do you like best?"
((OOC- Sorry it's short. Don't have much time.))

[ooc-there is. under new tampa, honeymoon island or something like that.]
Sophie followed Jack as he looked up at the sky. It was darkening, possibly threatening rain. If it rained, then they'd have to stay somewhere inside. But who cared? Sophie sure didn't.
"Yea. Alot," she replied to him, turning her head to face him. "Um, not sure really. Probably abstract art or animal pieces. Or landscapes and houses. Preferrably with a lake or ocean view." She was very specific with her art pieces.
[ooc-sorry. meep. muse is in Hawaii=(]
