____Braxton Academy was founded in 1905 by a Mr. Leonard Braxton, and was purposely tucked away in the Adirondack mountains to foster a serene setting removed from the hassles of the main society. Thus, the school was formed near Lost Bow lake in the mountains in upstate New York. The school remained largely unknown until the 1950's, when graduated students were choosing to return and set up businesses near the academy that catered to student's needs and desires. Later, as these businesses grew and prospered, the town of Braxton, New York, came into being.
____In 1958 the school board voted to have Braxton academy renamed as South Braxton Academy, to seperate it from the town. Today, both the town and academy have grown immensely - the town has become more residential than commercial, with the businesses still orienting on the south side, closest to the school, and the academy itself has grown and updated itself to fit it's growing roster of students.
____At South Braxton Academy you can roleplay as both students and teachers, attend dances and other school functions as they come about, and develop inter-character plots with other members. Friendly, helpful, and patient administrators, coupled with active members, make South Braxton Academy an excellent RPG choice.
