Caden groaned as he rested his head on the wallHe was pacing, waiting for Kae to emerge from the bathroom. Why did he have to f**k up and not wear a condom? Why oh, why. He sighed, softly hitting his head against the wall. Sure, now he had an even better reason to marry her. But still, in high school? Can you imagine the ridicule she'll have to go through? He sighed. He didn't want to see her hurt. He still had another year left of school!! Rubbing his head, he went and sat on his bed, holding his head in his hand, messing with his hair. His nerves were on the edge today, and the slightest move tricked him out. Watching his dog play with a sock, he smiled softly. He knew somewhere in the back of his mind that everything would be okay. That everything would work out.
Standing up and pacing again, Caden walked over to his desk, sitting down at the chair and opening a drawer, revealing a small velvet box. Picking it up, he opened it, and stared at the beautiful diamond ring that sparkled with even the smallest amount of light. He knew Kae would love it, he just didn't know when to give it to her. Sighing slightly, he put it back in the drawer and shut it softly. He walked over to the bathroom door, and leaned against it. "baby, hows it going?" he asked, through the wood. .

Pee on the stick and wait five minutes... That's what the box said. Kaelie held the stick between her legs, peed on it, and began waiting the agonizing five minutes. Dear God, why was she putting herself through this shit? It was stupid, that's what it was. OK, she thought. If I am pregnant, then I'm getting an abortion. It's that simple. We won't have to worry about anything, and no one will ever have to-- OHMYGOD, Kae, what are you thinking? She pinched her hand to scold herself for even considering something as brutal as abortion. Sure she was in highschool, but she wasn't alone in this. She had Cade. A smile escaped her lips during this time.
Hearing Cade bang his head on the wall was scary. She could tell that he was scared too. It seemed like it had been an hour, but by looking at the clock, Kae could tell it had only been two and a half mintues. The second hand on the clock seemed to move slower and slower with every passing second. Come on you dumass hand... move faster! she thought to herself. The sound of Cade opening a drawer made Kae stop thinking for a moment. What is he doing? she thought. He must've been trying to be sneaky, because Kaelie heard him close the drawe quietly. The door creaked as Cade leaned up against it. Baby, how's it going? she heard Caden ask. Not well, she thought to herself. By now, it had been five minutes. She hadn't even looked at the thing yet, but now she was scared to. With shaking hands, she brought it close to her face so she could see the results. There was a pink stripe going through the strip. Emotionless, she opened the door to the bathroom and stepped out. Her eyes met Cade's. "I'm pregnant"

Caden sighed as he continued pacing, wondering about. This was insane. The minutes seem to go by like hours. They just weren't coming fast enough. He looked up as Kae opened the doors, the hope draining from his eyes as he saw her emotionless face. I'm Pregnant. He sighed, walking over to her and developing her in a hug. "Okay babe. Thats fine. We can..do this." He sighed. Soon enough, Kae would be out of school, and then they could keep care of the child. "We can do this. You can graduate this year, and next year I'll drop out and we can go on with our lives..with our child." He spoke, kissing her softly, trying to calm his own nerves.
He sighed. Just thinking about dropping out made his heart ache. He loved school, he loved learning. But he had a responsibility now. He had to take care of his wife to be, and a child. He glanced over at the desk, wondering when he should ask for her hand in marriage. He hoped she would say yes. Who knew how she felt after his screw up at the beach, with the "break up". "Kae, I love you. And I won't ever leave you." He spoke, hoping to reminder her. Softly, he layed his head in her neck, wrapping his arms around her.

Seeing the hope leave Cade's eyes made Kaelie's heart sink. She wrapped her arms around his waist and let the tears flow from her eyes. She dug her face into his shoulder and listened to him. ...I'll drop out... she heard him say. Immediately, she looked at him. "Cade, no. I'm not going to let you drop out. We're not going to let this mess with our lives." She let his lips touch his, and kissed him back. We can do this... we can do this... she thought. Everything'll be fine.
Why would Cade think he has to drop out to help her? Kae was strong, she could do it. She just wouldn't go to USF like she had planned. I mean, everything would work out in the end. After Cade graduated, they could get married, and they would live with the baby. Their child. In the midst of her crying and tears, she smiled. "I love you, too, Cade." She kissed him again, and he laid his head on her shoulder. Her fingers ran through his black hair, whispering in his ear "I always will." Her eyes closed as they held each other close, not knowing what to do. Everything she said was true. For Cade, dropping out would be unacceptable. She wouldn't let him. Kaelie loved Cade so much that she would do anything for him. She knew how much he loved school. And in the end, no matter what, everything would turn out fine. Kaelie would make sure of it.
ooc;; sorry, not a very good one. =/

Caden listened to her words. "But Kae, what else are we gonna do?" He asked, looking her in the eyes, wiping away her tears with his thumb, carressing her cheek gently. Her kiss calmed him down some, reminding him that there was nothing that could break them apart. He sighed, holding her in his arms. "I know you do. I always will too." Pondering a thought in his mind, he led Kae over to the bed, and placed her down, while walking over to his desk, and opening the drawer, and pulling out the velvet box. Staring at it, with his back to Kae, he sighed . Now was the time.
Turning around, he walked over to his bed, getting on one knee. "Kae. I love you so much. I don't want you to think that I'm doing this only because you're pregnant now. I've been wanting to do this for some time now. I can't imagine living without you. I can't imagine breathing without you. I want to wake up to you every day. I want to hold you in my arms every day night, anytime. Will you make me the happiest man in the world and take my hand in marriage?" He asked, a few tears slipping down his face, with a great smile on his face.
ooc: no worries, its all good. mines way short

Kae slipped her hands in his and let their fingers intertwine. That, right there, felt so right. That's where they belonged; together, forever. His hands on her cheek was warm and welcoming, the way that Cade way. Maybe that's the way the baby would be, too. When Cade let go and started to lead her towards the bed, she put on a skeptic face. Now was not the time for sex. But he made her sit on the bed and walked away, when Kaelie put on a very very confused face. He opened a drawer and pulled out something Kae couldn't make out. It was smaller than his palm. OhmiGOD she thought. He's gonna do it.
When Cade turned around, she knew for sure. There was no question. She listened to his words, taking them in one by one. They were so sweet, so sincere. The tears came down his face one by one, but a smile was on his face. Her mouth dropped open. She put a hand on her chest, then used the same hand to wipe away Cade's tears. "Don't cry, baby." She looked at the box for a moment, and then realized that she hadn't even given Cade an answer yet. Suddenly, a smile erupted across her face. She jumped on Cade and gave him a kiss. "YES!" she yelled. "Yes, yes yes YES!" Now tears were falling down her cheek again, but this time because she was so happy. She would be Mrs. Caden Harte. One day. That thought alone made her the happiest girl on the entire planet. Ever.

Caden smiled as they held hands. Thinking into the future, he was glad he would have Kae. A constant reminder of who he was, and what he stood for. He had calmed down since Kae came about. He was all into the one night stands, and party scene. Now, he had completely settled for one girl, and one girl only. He kissed her lips lightly, smiling softly. Caden would have to get a better job. He would have to support his family. His job with Adelaide in the arcade pretty much sucked, and he hardly had enough money for gas. Now, he would get a better job, and start saving up for a family.
As she wiped away his tear, he got worried that she didn't want to get married. It took her awhile to answer. He grinned as she yelled yes, his heart lifting with every answer. He kissed her deeply, spinning her around. He smiled as he wiped away her tears. They were going to have such beautiful children, with such a beautiful wife he was going to have. "Mrs.Caden Harte to be. Would you also move in with me? Here?" He asked. Screw the rules, if there were any.

The name had a nice ring to it. Mrs. Caden Harte. Kaelie Harte. Baby Harte. She put her hand on her stomach, but immediately pulled back. She didn't want to hurt the poor dear! With the hand that has intertwined with hers, Cade's, and placed it on her stomach. "Cade, that's our baby. It's there." Her hand was on top of his, and she smiled at him. He was hers now, and she was his. They belonged to each other. Sure, it was young, and people probably thought they were retarded for even thinking about getting married in high school, but they were in love. It didn't matter what anyone else said, they were in love and no one could stop them. They could try, but they would find a way to be together. His lips felt so good against hers.
God, now she'd have to get a job. Since coming to Dayton, she hadn't really thought about money. But with a baby on the way, money could be a big problem now. Supporting herself, and a baby would be hard. But Cade was here. They were getting married for God's sake. Soon they would be Mr. and Mrs. Caden Harte, mother and father. Cade kissed her, and she kissed him back with equal passion. When he spun her, her heart leapt. Kae threw her head back and laughed. She loved him. Oh, so much. Would she move in with him? Hell yea, in a heartbeat. "I'd love to babe." Kae kissed him again and smiled. "I can't believe we're going to get married!"

Caden smiled as they held hands. He loved how perfectly their hands fit together. He grinned as she placed his hands on her stomach, going down there and rubbing his face in her stomach softly. "Whos my little man now!?" He cooed, not really caring if it was a girl or boy. He chuckled to himself, making his way back up to her lips, kissing her softly. "As kinda sucky this is, the whole pregnancy in highschool thing, I'm kinda glad that I'm helping bringing a child into this world with the love of my life." He spoke, resting his forehead on hers.
Thinking about the future hurt his head, so for now, he would think about the present. Caden held Kae tight in his arms. He would finally be able to call her his, without any questioning. They would be forever together in marriage, forever. He wanted to spend his whole life with her. And now, they would have a child as a reminder of their constant love for eachother. "I know. It seems so surreal. But I'm the happiest man in the entire universe right now." He spoke, kissing her nose softly. He'd have to clean up his dorm a bit, in order to suit for a lady. "We can keep my dog, right?" He asked, looking like a little boy.

Cade's face in her stomach tickled. Ah! Cade! Don't hurt him... or her." When he said little man, a smile came across her face. "How do you know you contributed a Y to that little thing? You could have put an X there, too." She watched his dog chew that sock and laughed. The next thing she knew, Cade was kissing her lips just soft enough so they touched. The thought of having a baby kind of made Kae happy. "It doesn't suck that bad, I guess." The fact that it was with Cade made her even happier. They would have a child together, and it would be one of many things that bound them together, forever. As Cade rested his forehead against Kae's, she kissed his lips. God, she loved him. What the hell would she do without him in her life? Now that he was already in it, she would probably kille herself if he ever left.
Cade had a tight hold on Kae, and she squeezed back just as hard. They had a rocky future ahead of them. Most likely it held ridicule, from the other students. Getting pregnant or getting someone pregnant was like, an unspeakable thing at Dayton. Kaelie had never known anyone who had gotten pregnant there. There probably were a few, but none that she had heard of. "It's amazing." she answered him. "So, what do you think everyone will think when I start to show?" Kaelie asked cautiously. It didn't really matter to Kae, but she just didn't want Cade to have to go through a lot. Everyone, and I mean everyone, knew that they were going out. The next nine months would probably be some of the worst and the best in Kaelie's entire life, and she was looking more than forward to them.

"I dunno. Maybe I contributed a ....goat?" He shrugged, smirking a bit, imagining a goat baby. He held Kae close, smirking at himself for thinking about such a child. He was such a kid at heart, and that made such a difference. "The only part that sucks is that we don't have a house, money or jobs." He spoke, shrugging as if those things weren't even important. He kissed her gently, placing his hands on her cheeks elegantly. He was completely and utterly in love with this girl and nothing could ever change those feelings.
Caden thought about how scary things were gonna get when Kae went into labor. Gosh, things like that scared him. He was scared of blood. But he was going to be there for Kae. He was going to be in the room with her, holding her hand and whispering things into her ear. He wanted to provide for her, and their child, so it was time to shape up and start acting like a husband and father. "I'm pretty sure they're gonna know for sure now that we have sex. Alot." He spoke, grinning slightly. "But we shouldn't care what they say. Because we're in love. And what they say can't change that."

Kaelie laughed. This was what she loved about Cade. He was such a kid! Sometimes it could get a little annoying, though. He's a junior in highschool. But, whatever. Don't ever marry a man who you plan to change, her mother once told her. But then her heart sank when he slipped back to reality. "Well, we can fix that. I'll get an after-school job, and so can you. And if we live together, then that'll save us one room and board." Then, her stomach growled. She looked up at the ceiling. "But I'm eating for two people now. And if she or he has the same appetite as me, I may as well be eating for eight." His warm hands touched her cheeks as he kissed her, and she kissed him back, deeply.
Kaelie suddenly got a sick feeling in her stomach. She pulled back from Cade's lips. "Hold on..." She managed to carry herself to the bathroom and puke up whatever was in her stomach at the time, not much of anything. Grabbing a towel, she wiped her mouth off. She walked out of the bathroom and laid down on Cade's bed. "Sorry, babe. That was probably really really disgusting for you." Then she listened to Cade for a moment. "They can all go f**k themselves. Seriously, who cares if we have sex. It's our life, and if we screw it up, then it's our fault." She grabbed a pillow and covered up her head, trying to hide her tears. Why she was crying was sort of a question at the moment, but later she figured it out. Kaelie was pregnant. She was emotional. These feelings weren't going to go away for a looong time...

Caden smiled at her. "Right. We can do this. Do you think I'm sexy enough to get a job at Abercrombie?" He asked, sincerlly. You had to look like a model pretty much to work there, and they paid very well. He smiled at her, rubbing her back softly. "Crap. Now we have to feed like 18 people. I eat like a horse!" He grinned. He knew this was gonna take some commitment on both ends, and he was willing.
Caden frowned as she walked into the bathroom. Poor thing. He frowned again as she came in. "Its okay baby. I understand." He rubbed her back again softly. As she covered her eyes with the pillow, he got concerned. He lifted the pillow from her face and kissed her cheeks softly. "Hey now, don't be sad. Everything is going to be alright." He stroked her forehead, wiping away her tears as they fell. He would always be here for her.

Kaelie smiled. "Of course we can do this." Did she think he was sexy enough to work at Abercrombie? Of course. "Hell yea, baby. You're hotter than any model I've ever seen." Having Cade hold her tight made her feel more safe than anything in the world. Deep deep down, Kaelie knew that they could do it. It couldn't be that hard raising a child. Or could it? Kaelie laughed. Cade always knew how to make her laugh. "Well it looks like we'll have to start making some money if we want to live together." Kaelie thought for a moment. Where could she work? There's not very many really good stores that want a pregnant teenager working there. She didn't mention this to Cade because she didn't want to bring down his spirit. They deserved to be happy right now.
Even thought he didn't say it, she knew he had to be a little grossed out. I mean, making out one moment, and then puking the next? Hey, at least she had made it to the bathroom in time. "I know. But see, what if that happens during class or something? What will we do then. People will find out." When she put the pillow over her face and started crying, she kind of wanted Cade to come over and pull it off. He did, and kissed her cheeks. Sadness wasn't why she was crying. Fear was. "Cade, I'm not sad. I'm scared." Kaelie wiped her tears and laid he head in Cade's lap. "What if we can't make enought money to support us?" Kaelie didn't really wait for Cade's answer. Just in a matter of seconds, she fell asleep in Cade's lap, feeling safe.
